I never had the pleasure to meet Noelle, but as a community member and teacher, Noelle has certainly touched my life. Noelle’s Gift has made such a positive impact of the lives of so many students in Lambton Kent, and that truly is the goal of every teacher.
As President of the Lambton Kent Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario, it is amazing how many teachers have commented to me about the support from Noelle’s Gift, and the word is just beginning to spread. It is amazing at what your family is doing to support the children in Lambton Kent! Thank you.
I know as you set up this organization in Noelle’s memory, your goal was never to seek praises our accolades, but the incredible gift you are giving the children of Lambton Kent, this is bound to happen. It is with great privilege that the Executive of the Lambton Kent Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario has nominated Noelle’s Gift as the Non-ETFO Humanitarian of the Year, the highest Provincial honour our Federation can bestow. In our 15 years of operation we have never put forward a nomination, but have been so moved by your actions, we felt it necessary to do so.
