CATHERINE WILDE is the owner of FLECK LAW in Sarnia/Point Edward. She is a graduate of the University of Saskatchean Law and Business Schools and has been practicing law in Sarnia for 19 years. She practices exclusively in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, representing clients who have been catastrophically injured in motor vehicle collisions and other accidents, as well as with insurance and disability disputes. One of her many trial successes includes obtaining the largest reported jury award in Canada for chronic pain.
Cathy was awarded the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and regularly participates as a speaker, author and organizer at personal injury conferences and seminars for various professional organizations, including The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, The Advocates Society, Osgoode Law School, The Law Society of Ontario, The Ontario Bar Association, The Canadian Defence Lawyers Association and The Middlesex Law Association. She has also lectured at Lambton College on civil litigation for law clerks.
Cathy has been a board member with numerous local not-for-profit organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the YMCA and the Point Edward Early Learning Centre. She has also volunteered with Crimestoppers, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation and the Cancer Society.
